"Empowering Independence in the Name of Christ."

The Friendship Food Pantry distributes an average of 2,000 pounds of food per week to Noble County residents who live in the 46755 zip code.

35% is donated by individuals, businesses, churches, and organizations who conduct food drives for the pantry.

38% of the food is purchased from Community Harvest Food Bank in Fort Wayne, the Milford Food Bank, and other local stores as needed.

27% is received in the form of Government Commodities through Community Harvest.

Many people do not realize that cash donations are as necessary to the operation of a pantry as are actual food donations. In addition to purchasing food, we also have overhead costs of operating and maintaining equipment such as multiple freezers and refrigerators, facility maintenance and administrative costs.

When cash is donated, we are able to purchase food for 19 cents per pound or a little more, which stretches dollars further.

Donations of food and / or cash may be dropped off at the Kendallville Common Grace office during the following hours:

Monday & Thursday:  8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday:  8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Friday:  8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Donations may also be dropped off at the Friendship Food Pantry during distribution hours:

Wednesday:  1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Friday:  2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

If you would like to schedule a food drive or make a donation after hours, please call the Friendship Food Pantry at 260-242-6427.  Please leave a message if you do not immediately reach the Program Director.
